Get to Know Us
The Level Bar was thought of and created by Todd and Bradlee Fuhrhop (Father/Son) inside of their small town fitness center/auto body shop, Okawville Bodyworks, in rural Okawville, IL. Bradlee, President of The Level Bar, is a former collegiate baseball player at Kentucky Wesleyan College where he obtained his Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and Biomechanics. He is a ISSA certified personal trainer and baseball trainer for EL1. Bradlee trains a wide variety of people from youth, high end athletes to older, active adults. Todd, Vice President of The Level Bar, is a lifelong dedicated weightlifter, which led him to pursue his dream of owning his own fitness center and auto body shop. The idea of The Level Bar came to life after experiencing multiple shoulder injuries due to years of uneven weightlifting and overuse of the dominate side. This barbell gave instant feedback to keep both sides of the body balanced and the production of equal force. They found that through increased concentration levels the mind to muscle connection was much more noticeable while using The Level Bar. We believe this barbell will change the industry.
